OK, Kath has called me out, so I have to tell you about myself. I’m not really a “make it up about me” kind of person, although that’s very fun sometimes. I’m much more of a “here’s the truth whether you like it or not” person.
I’m a firm believer in alternative medicine, and to anyone who says, “double blind study,” you don’t want to go there with me, because I will shoot your argument down faster than you can say “conflict of interest.” There are times when western medicine is appropriate — like when you get hit by a bus. Other than that, I’m all about earth-based medicine and changing our ridiculous healthcare system.
I love yoga, watching the moon rise (especially when it’s orange), wishing on a falling star, getting up early, and connecting with people. I’m very affectionate with the people I love, and I’m told I give a mean shoulder rub. I believe in the power of One, that we create what we think, and that faith and love are much more powerful motivators than fear.
I love music, both making it and listening. And no, I do not consider rap to be music… rhythmic poetry, maybe, but not music. Actually I’m turning into an old fogy as far as music is concerned; I can’t believe some of the crap that my kids are bringing home! What’s up with those lyrics anyway?
Ultimately, if you haven’t guessed it by now, it’s all about love. Use love as your fuel, and watch the miracles start to unfold.
